Good Friends

One of my favorite people in the world came to visit last week. Lori is just about the only person I know who grew up here and I thought would never leave. Unfortunately her husband got transfered to Colorado last year and they up and moved. She came to visit for the day and we had a great time together! We talked, stamped and went to Chipolte for lunch. I just love her and really miss her! Lori, move back!

Here are a couple of the cards we made:

Carston's Baptism

My youngest son was baptized the beginning of this month. It was such an awesome day! My parents flew in Thursday night to be here for the event and we enjoyed having them in our home until Tues. morning. Children aren't baptized into our church until they are 8 years old (or older). The reason being that they are then accountable and learning to make decisions on their own, thus becoming responsible to repent when they make wrong decisions. I'm happy Carston chose to follow Jesus Christ's example and be baptized. He truly seemed pleased with his decision.
I made this invite for our neighbors. Carston picked the colors and was happy with the way it turned out.
My mom made this AMAZING quilt for Carston. He loves to be in the garden and will probably be a landscape specialist one day. She knew of his love for all things that grow and came up with this. The small squares in between the vegetable squares are pictures of him in the garden. It absolutely takes my breath away, it's so beautiful!
