Stampin' Olympics

Ok! You can tell it's been a LONG time since you've blogged when you login and haven't a clue what you're doing.  WOW!  They have changed a lot!  Anyway, hope I'm doing what I'm supposed to!

A couple weeks ago a couple of demonstrator friends and I had a Stampin' Olympics party.  It was SO MUCH FUN!!!  Everyone made 12 cards and we had two games.  The first game was to get to know the new catalog.  The second game was my FAVORITE!!!  We went up to my craft room and I had several bags on the counter.  Each bag had three pieces of card stock (one was a new In-color piece), an ink pad and a new item from the catalog, i.e.. a punch, a Sizzix die, paper piercing tool, etc.  Each woman was told to pick a bag and they had to create a card using all the items in the bag.  They were also told they had access to everything in my craft room.  It was so fun to see all the darling cards that were made!  I got pictures of most of them.

We hope to do something like this again!

Valentines Banner

Made this with the Petite Pennants Builder punch. Once again, LOVE the new Everyday Enchantment DSP and the First Edition DSP. This is so petite but I think it turned out really cute!

Rosettes

I made these rosettes with some scraps of fabric I had. They are so easy to make and there are so many cute things you can do with them. I made these three into a pin that I could wear.

Rosettes are made by taking a 1-1/2" x 22" piece of fabric and folding it in half and in half again. You should now have a piece of fabric that is about 3/8" x 22". Then you start rolling and twisting the fabric until you end up with this darling rosette. Cover the back with hot glue and stick it to a piece of felt. They come together so quickly and are adorable! Enjoy!

Love Banner

I've been creating quite a lot lately, probably due to all the great ideas I've seen on Pinterest. I LOVE the new Everyday Enchantment DSP in the Sale-a-bration catalog!!! It's perfect for my home! Anyway, I decided to make this banner to hang above my dishes in my kitchen. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. I don't have the Perfect Pennants die but I do have the Scalloped Square die. I cut a bunch of scalloped squares out and cut them in half and wa-la! I have cute pennant-like shapes!
