Stamped Egg

Isn't this the coolest!?! Rebecca made these darling eggs for Easter and hung them on a little tree she has. All the ladies a stamp club were very impressed. Rebecca mentioned how you need to keep in mind when you are stamping on the egg that you need to roll the stamp sideways and up and down. Someone mentioned how much easier they would be to stamp with the clear mount stamps. No need to use a block, just form the rubber around the egg. I definitely want to try this next year! Thanks for the cute egg Rebecca!

Happy Administrative Assistant Day

Ha! What ever happened to Secretaries day? Oh well. Mark asked me to make something that he could give to his administrative assistants, so this is what I came up with. I filled one with Rolo candies and one with peanut M&M's. I hope they like them.

First in Fitness

Last month Lacie and Bryson competed in the county First in Fitness competition. Bryson was chosen to do pull-ups for the middle school. He got 2nd place with 18 pull-ups. First place did 19. We were very proud with how well he did. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, but the first place winner's mom took this picture. I'm grateful to her!

A week later Lacie competed as the Triathlete. She was the only girl from our school to do the Shuttle Run....
Pull-ups....
and the Mile....
We don't know exactly how she did in the shuttle run, but she got first in pull-ups with 15 pull-ups and 5th in the mile with a time of 7:05. We were so proud of her!

Scallop Square Bag

Look what I made! This bag came together so easily! I used the Scallop Square Bigz die and it cut out sooooo fast! I was able to put 8, that's right, eight layers of fabric through the Big Shot at once. I was able to do 3 layers of batting at once as well! I just love this material by Basic Grey. The hardest part was deciding how to lay the fabric out! The bag looks cute this way or inside out (without the scallops). I think I'm going to reinforce the handles with material and sew the rik rac on top of that. Wouldn't this make the cutest baby blanket!?! Love my Big Shot!
