When a bunny dies
Last week was very sad because one of our bunnies, "Snowball," died. We've had him for 6 years. Mark put a fence under our deck and that's where we kept them. They've been great pets with very low maintenance. We buried him in our back yard. I think his brother "Snowflake" is very sad and misses him. Lacie, Carston and I miss him too. Here's a few pictures from their lives.

Valentine's Countdown
I needed a gift for a friend whose birthday is right before Christmas. I wanted to give her an advent but two days before Christmas seemed a little late. So, I decided to make her a Valentine's countdown. I now realize I forgot to number the tins but you get the idea! I have a box full of stamp sets I plan to get rid of, but each time I make one of these I find myself digging through the box and so happy to have certain stamps. Who knows if I will ever part with them!
Stamps: Too many to name
Paper: Berry Bliss DSP
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Basic Gray
Accessories: 1 3/4 inch punch, Scallop circle punch, stickles, brads, liquid applique, pomegranate ribbon, tins, magnets, cookie sheet
I purchase the tins and magnets from Widget Supply: http://www.widgetsupply.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=WS&Category_Code=storage-metal-container TFL!

Rock Climbing
Last week I took the kids and three of their friends rock climbing. One mother with 7 kids might not seem like the best idea, but we had an absolute blast! I recently learned how to belay and took my Young Women's church group climbing. It was kind-of empowering to learn something like that. We all had a blast! It was good to remember my skills with my own kids and all my kids were so happy I could do it. It was fun to see them do so well.
Lacie working her way to the top. I don't know how she got out of that complete straddle position!

I decorated the petals by putting a plastic bag on my finger and getting some regal rose in on the bag. Then I dragged my finger across the pretty in pink to create the look you see.
